The William H. Raper Heritage Room contains a variety of resources for patrons who are researching their family histories. The collection includes an assembly of marriage, birth and death certificates, obituaries, the federal census index, cemetery directories, and property records from Habersham and surrounding counties. The resources are available through a variety of media including newspaper clippings, pension record books, Cherokee Indian rolls, state and county history books, City of Clarkesville directories, journals, maps, and family histories bound either in book form or collected in three-ring binders. Additionally, library patrons have access to Ancestry and Heritage Quest Online via the public computers throughout the library.
